With Premium, accountant-ready PDF and CSV reports from Year End Tax Reports: income by category (1099 and W-2), your mileage valued at the IRS rate, a quarterly breakdown, totals by employer, and your expenses by category. A W-2 and 1099 tracker lets you mark each form received. The app does not produce 1099s. It is a record-keeping aid, not tax advice. Confirm specifics with your tax professional.

Mileage is tracked on 1099 jobs only. The app measures the drive and values it at the IRS rate in force that day: 72.5 cents a mile from January 1 to June 30, 2026, and 76 cents from July 1 to December 31, 2026. You choose the rule in Settings, Mileage deduction rules. With a qualified home office, the round trip from home counts. Without one, the drive from home is left out, and a job you drive to straight from your station counts one way. This is record keeping only. Ask a tax professional which rule applies to you.

A payer that paid you less than $2,000 in the year ($600 before 2026) does not have to send a 1099, so the app shows "No 1099 expected" for that payer. The income is still taxable, and your log is the record of it. You mark forms received in the W-2 Tracker at the bottom of the Log tab, and the Tax Center lists their status. If a 1099 arrives anyway, mark it received.

Yes, optionally. On the Calendar tab, turn on tracking for your days off and vacation, mark your days off, and set your regular shift hours. The app then will not save a job whose times overlap your regular shift, while still allowing work at other times of the day and on vacation, ASL or comp days. No-off-duty days you mark for yourself work differently: the app asks you to confirm, and you can still add the job.

Your records are stored in your private account, and each user can only read and write their own data. We don't sell your information, and it is never shared with your department. When you take a shift from a scheduler, that scheduler sees what the shift needs, such as your name, and the W-9 you put on file if you switch that scheduler on in Settings, W-9 on File. For extra protection you can turn on optional two-factor authentication in Settings, a 6-digit authenticator code required at sign-in, free for every member.
