DIA Log: past sheets are kept 14 days. A finished log sheet used to stay under Past sheets only through the next day, so a sheet from your last shift before days off could be gone when you came back. Now every filed sheet stays for 14 days from the day it is filed, and each row shows the date it is kept through. You can still view, download and email it any time before then. On the website now. In the phone apps with the update sent to the App Store and Google Play on October 5: if you do not see it on your phone, update the app. Until your phone app is updated, send or download the PDF the same day.

Clear an alert or a roster message when you are done with it. Every row behind the bell now has a ✕. Tap it and that alert is cleared. Clearing only hides it: it never marks a job paid or changes your records, and the alert comes back by itself when there is something new on it, such as another unpaid job, another open shift or a new Marketplace message. Roster Messages has the same ✕ on each message, which removes it from your own list only; other officers still see it. Show them again brings back anything you cleared. On the website now. In the phone apps with the update sent to the App Store and Google Play on October 5: if you do not see it on your phone, update the app.

Miles fill in when you pick a saved job. In Quick Add, picking a job you have logged before (or a My Jobs chip, or Duplicate) now looks up the One-Way Miles for a 1099 job by itself, the same as typing the address did. A figure you typed is never replaced, and if you change the address the miles are measured again. Also fixed: Can't work it on a scheduler job now opens from the calendar day view. The miles change is on the website now and comes to the phone apps with the update sent to the App Store and Google Play on October 5: if the miles do not fill in on your phone, update the app.

Sort your Log. The Log tab has a new Sort by box above the table. Show your jobs by date, employer, location, job type, hours, pay, one-way miles, paid or not, or W-2 received, and tap the button beside it to reverse the order. On a computer you can also click a column heading. Sorting only changes what you see: your records, totals and exports stay as they are, and each device remembers its own choice. While you edit, jobs stay where they are; the list goes back in order when you change the sort or reopen the Log tab. On the website and in the iPhone and Android apps. If you do not see Sort by on your phone, update the app.

Sign-up, deleting your account, and your W-9. A new account now confirms its email: we send a link, you press the button on the page it opens, then you sign in. Delete my account & all my data now also removes your sign-in, unless another service shares it, and cancels a website subscription at once, with no refund for unused time. A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play still has to be cancelled in the store. Your W-9 on file is now stored encrypted in our database. And the app now carries its own code files instead of loading them from other sites. The delete and code changes are on the website and in the iPhone and Android apps. If the delete button on your phone does not ask you to type DELETE, update the app first: Delete your account explains what an older app does and how to finish.

Employer logins for your clients. A business that books through a scheduling officer can use that scheduler's request link to create a free login at centurionblue.com/employers. They sign in when they need officers, send a request, and see where each one stands, with an email when it is approved, declined or needs more information once they confirm their address. Schedulers see which logins are on each link and can remove one, and nothing is scheduled until the scheduler approves it. The no-login request link works as before.

Mileage deduction rules in Settings. You now choose how the app counts miles on 1099 jobs: with a qualified home office the round trip from home counts; without one, the drive from home is left out and a job you drive to straight from your station counts one way. Nothing changes until you pick. Record keeping only; ask a tax professional which applies to you.

Imported jobs are reviewed job by job. If we loaded past jobs for you through Premium Setup, the review now shows one screen per job, where you set the name, payment type, wage and location once and tick the shifts to keep.
  • Sep 27
Edit all keeps each day's times. Editing every day of a multi-day entry now changes only the fields you changed, so days with their own start and end times keep them.
  • Sep 27
DIA Log: sync, place search and an in-app PDF. An open app picks up newer records from your other device when you are not in the middle of an entry. Once a vehicle is entered in Unit no., you can search a business or address, or tap Use my location, which is used once and never tracked in the background. View PDF opens the sheet in a full-screen viewer with Zoom, Share or save (Download in a browser), and Close.

Open Work, now on the Exchange tab. Open Work arrived on September 19 as its own tab, labelling every open job against your own schedule. Two days later it moved into the Exchange tab, which now carries the same choices: Fits my schedule or Everything, and the next 30 days, the next 90 days or any date.

"No 1099 expected" for small payers. A payer that paid you less than $2,000 in the year ($600 before 2026) does not have to send a 1099, so the Tax Center and the W-2 Tracker show "No 1099 expected" for it. The income is still taxable.
  • Sep
Mileage at the IRS rate for the day you worked. 1099 mileage uses 72.5 cents a mile for jobs dated through June 30, 2026 and 76 cents for jobs dated July 1 or later. A rate you typed in yourself still applies until you clear it.
  • Sep
No Off-Duty Days. Mark the days you want kept free of off-duty work and the app asks you to confirm before you add or accept a job on one. It warns and never blocks.

The phone apps. Centurion Blue is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android. Same account and same records as the website, plus App Lock, home screen widgets and push alerts. iPhone also has Siri phrases and Lock Screen widgets.

Changes reach the website first. The iPhone and Android apps get them with their next update from the store, so keep the app updated. If something here does not work the way it is described, write to support@centurionblue.com or text (303) 802-0272 (text only).

Keep your own record.

Denver officers can open a free Primary account. Officers at every other department start with a 30-day free trial, no card required, then $59.99 a year or $7.99 a month.
