Delete your Centurion Blue account and data
Centurion Blue · by Centurion Blue Consulting LLC · Last updated: October 1, 2026
This page is for anyone with an account in
Centurion Blue, the off-duty and secondary-employment tracker for police officers, on iPhone, Android, or in a browser. You can delete your account yourself in the app, or ask us by email without opening the app at all. On the website and in an up-to-date phone app, the button does the whole job: your records, your files and your sign-in are removed, and a website subscription is cancelled. An older phone app does only part of it, and
this page explains how to finish.
Delete it in the app
- Sign in to Centurion Blue, in the phone app or at centurionblue.com/app.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the card named Your data & privacy.
- If you want a copy first, tap Download my data (JSON).
- Tap Delete my account & all my data. The app shows you what will be deleted and what will be cancelled, asks you to confirm, and then asks you to type DELETE.
Nothing is removed until you type DELETE. The app then cancels a website subscription if you have one, deletes your files, your records and your sign-in, signs you out, and tells you what it did. If it cannot finish, it tells you what happened, and you can try again or email us. If you use two-factor sign-in, the app may ask you to sign out and sign in again with your code first.
If the app only asks you to confirm twice and never asks you to type DELETE, it is an older version. See If your phone app has not been updated.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@centurionblue.com from the email address on your account and say you want your account and data deleted. You do not need to install or open the app. We ask that the request come from the account's own address so we know it is really you. If you no longer have that mailbox, tell us and we will work out another way to confirm it is your account. A person on our support team then removes everything the button removes. If you have a website subscription, it is cancelled at once as part of the deletion, the same as with the button.
Delete an employer login
An employer login is the separate login a business uses at centurionblue.com/employers to send requests to its scheduling officer. It is not an officer account, and the rest of this page does not apply to it.
- Sign in at centurionblue.com/employers.
- Open Your login.
- Under Delete login, choose I want to delete my login, enter your password to confirm, then choose Delete my login.
The login is removed right away, along with its sign-ins and its connections to scheduling officers. Requests still waiting are withdrawn. Requests already approved or declined stay with the scheduling officer as their record, no longer tied to a login. To have those removed, ask the scheduling officer or email support@centurionblue.com. If you cannot sign in, use Forgot password first, or email us from the address on the login.
What the delete button removes
On the website and in an up-to-date phone app, the button removes all of this once you type DELETE:
- Your saved record in our database: the jobs you logged, pay, hours and overtime, mileage, expenses, your settings and home address, registration details, Tax Center details, attached W-2 and 1099 files, leave balances, Wellness and Fitness entries, DIA log sheets and your personal calendar events.
- Your W-9 on file, including the Social Security number or EIN inside that PDF.
- Receipt photo files in our file storage.
- Any imported jobs waiting for your review from a Premium Setup.
- Jobs you posted to the Job Exchange. You are also taken off any Exchange job you had accepted from another officer.
- Marketplace listings you posted, their photos, and the Marketplace messages you sent or received.
- Notification tokens for your devices, your badge check record (Denver edition) and your subscription status record.
- Your sign-in itself: the login email and password record. The one exception is a shared sign-in.
- The copy of your data stored on the device you are using, including the list of Apple Health or Health Connect workouts the app had offered you. A copy saved on another phone or browser you used stays on that device until you remove the app or clear that browser's site data.
What stays with a scheduler
If a scheduler put you on a roster or assigned you shifts, those records are that scheduler's, and deleting your account does not erase them. The roster entry (your name, badge number, email and phone as the scheduler entered them) and the shifts that name you, past and upcoming, with their check in and check out times and any GPS check in location, stay with that scheduler. So do that scheduler's other records that carry your name: a job's saved team or permanent officer entry that lists you (name, badge number and email), swap and release requests of yours that the scheduler has already answered, a swap another officer asked for that names you as the replacement, and any message or activity line on that scheduler's jobs that carries your name. Deleting only removes the link between those records and your account. A swap or release request of your own that the scheduler has not answered yet is removed with your account, and the shift stays assigned to you. If you have upcoming shifts, tell the scheduler, because you still show as assigned. To have the entries removed, ask that scheduler, or email support@centurionblue.com.
If you run jobs as a scheduler
The button will not delete an account that still owns jobs, shifts, client request links or client requests in the Scheduler, because other officers' shifts depend on them. Hand your jobs to another scheduler first, or email support@centurionblue.com and we will help. Once nothing is left in your name, you can delete the account like any other, and your roster and scheduler settings are deleted with it.
What is kept
- Payment records. Charges, receipts and subscription history are held by Stripe (website purchases), Apple (App Store purchases) or Google (Google Play purchases) under their own policies. We keep the transaction records we need for tax and accounting. For a Premium Setup purchase, that record includes the email address it was bought with.
- A fingerprint for the one free trial. Each officer gets one free trial. When an account that started its trial is deleted, we keep a one-way fingerprint of the account's email address (a SHA-256 hash), the date the trial started and the date of deletion. The fingerprint is not the address itself. It lets us recognize the same address if it signs up again, so the trial on the new account counts from the original start date instead of starting over.
- The do-not-email list. If you unsubscribed from our marketing or job alert emails, that address stays on the list so it is not emailed again.
- A code you used. A free-access or gift code you redeemed stays marked as used.
- Messages you sent us. Emails and texts to support, and the registration notice our support inbox received when you signed up, stay in that inbox unless you ask us to remove them.
- Backups. Deleted records may remain for a limited time in routine backups kept by our hosting provider before they are overwritten.
- Shared employer list. Employer names and addresses that were added to the shared suggestion list from jobs you logged stay there. They carry no name, pay or personal detail of yours.
If your sign-in is shared
A few sign-ins are also used by another service that shares the same login. If yours is one, deleting removes your Centurion Blue records and cancels a website subscription in the same way, but the sign-in itself, the login email and password record, is kept so the other service keeps working. The app tells you this before you confirm and again when it finishes. When the sign-in is kept, deleting still signs you out everywhere it was in use, on this device and on your other devices, so you will need to sign in again to use the other service.
Subscriptions when you delete
- Bought on the website. Deleting your account cancels the subscription at once, including the Fitness and Diet Coaching add-on if you have it. Access ends then, not at the end of the period you paid for, and no refund is issued for the unused time. The app tells you this before you confirm. To keep access for the time you already paid for, cancel from Settings (“Manage or cancel your subscription”) instead, and delete the account later.
- Bought in the iPhone or Android app. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, and we are not able to cancel it for you. Cancel it in your subscriptions in that store, or it keeps renewing. When the app sees a store subscription, it warns you before you confirm.
- Older phone app. A phone app that has not been updated cancels nothing when you delete. See the next section.
See Refunds and cancellation.
If your phone app has not been updated
The full delete is on the website and in the current iPhone and Android apps. You can tell which one you have: the full version asks you to type DELETE, and the older one only asks you to confirm twice. If yours is the older one, update the app first. The older one erases your saved record, your W-9 on file and any imported jobs waiting for review, clears that device and signs you out. It does not remove your sign-in or the other items in the list above, and it does not cancel any subscription.
- Before you delete: update the app from the App Store or Google Play if an update is offered, or sign in at centurionblue.com/app in a browser and delete there.
- If you already deleted with the older version: email support@centurionblue.com from the email address on your account and we finish it. Tell us if you have a website subscription, because finishing the deletion cancels it at once.
Who handles it
The delete button is carried out by our system as soon as you type DELETE. A request sent by email is read and carried out by a person on the Centurion Blue support team. If anything on this page is unclear, email support@centurionblue.com or text (303) 802-0272 (text only). The full policy is in the Privacy Policy.
